Organization: CORE
Scope: Estimate interface, catalog pricing, optional draft saving, inquiry handoff, and checkout rules
Timeframe: Ongoing estimate workflow tied to the public catalog

The challenge

Show useful prices without pretending every requirement is known.

Published packages can show prices; custom applications, integrations, provider usage, and changing requirements need review.

Key constraints

Use one catalog source for published prices.
Separate one-time and recurring costs.
Offer optional email-based draft saving.
Keep an estimate separate from approved scope or a proposal.

The approach

Separate each cost type and keep the project details attached.

1
Separate the cost types
Each selection keeps its billing schedule and scope notes visible.
2
Keep the project details attached
Needs, selections, budget, timeline, and follow-up stay in one record.
3
Explain what happens next
A fixed proposal follows review of the requirements and exclusions.
